It's Been Such a Blast - Reise-Reflexionen von Matt

The last 2 weeks have been such a blast for me! I've had so much fun in learning more of the language, but also being immersed in the German culture. I have tried many new things, made many new friends and certainly got some amazing memories. Before setting out on this trip, we were all tasked with setting individual goals we wished to achieve. As my own goals weren't too ambitious, I am very happy that I was able to achieve all of them. From a cultural standpoint, it was amazing to first hand experience the German culture and be able to partake in it. Everything from the bike lanes to the food, it was all such an amazing experience. From an engineering standpoint, I have been completely blown away by the sheer history and future plans of all the companies that we spoke to.

For those who have never been abroad or are looking into going, my advice to you is to just do it! I can't tell you how amazing it is to be in a different culture and experience their way of life. This trip has certainly opened my eyes to the wide variety of cultures out there, many of which I now plan to explore.
