Hallo! Ich heiße Sinna und ich bin in meinem ersten Jahr zum der Universität von Rhode Island. This is my daily observation for München/Munich.

Today was our second day in München, and it covered a lot. We started the day with Frühstuck at the hostel, then we went to BMW right afterwards. The tour guide was kind and helpful, and BMW Welt was way cooler than I was expecting. The tour definitely gave me a newfound respect for cars and mechanical engineering that I didn't have previously. There, I bought a toy BMW car for my friend who's obsessed with BMW, and I got myself a keychain.

We then took a walk through Olympia Park on the way to the train station. The area had a very apocalyptic vibe since it was almost entirely abandoned, but that just made it even more interesting, in my opinion. From there, we took a train to lunch at an Irish pub restaurant.

The Deutsches Museum was our next stop, and an hour and a half is definitely NOT enough time to explore that place! Next time I'm in Germany, I'm going to go back to explore further. We were given a little time to explore München around our dinner restaurant location after the museum, during which I bought myself a Stein as a souvenir.

Dinner featured the German IEP alumnis as guests, and it was really nice to meet them and talk to them at length about their study abroad experiences and about what they now do for work. I had a lot of fun bonding with them, and also with other group members today. I'm excited for what tomorrow will bring!
