Wir gingen ins Mercedes-Benz/Daimler Museum. The Museum was extremely large and housed hundreds of motor vehicles. We began on the top floor after taking an elevator which played the sound of cars from each time period that we would see in the museum. Once we reached the top floor, we saw many of the early wagon cars with integrated engines. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and described each vehicle in great detail as we moved through the museum. Only seven of the almost 1,000 cars were not original. The museum also had very intricate details for example, when we walked into each exhibit the walls were lined with material that would have been on the interior of the cars during that time period. The museum was tasteful, elegant, informative, and well done in every little detail. After the tour had ended I really began to consider Daimler as a top choice for my internship when I go to Germany.
